Marist coaches and moderators: Student names and other
information for Marist Varsity, Marist JV "blank," OSAA and Sky-Em
awards certificates are typed in by you using a program called "CERTUv1"
that you download and install on your computer.
Please contact Tony Huck at
686-2234 Ext. 2501 at Marist for the username and password you will need
to run CERTUv1.
How to install and use CERTUv1:
-
If you use Microsoft Outlook for your email, be sure you have that
program running while you also
use CERTUv1. When you complete the certificates data entry, the CERTUv1
program will use Outlook to automatically email the data file to Tony
Huck at Marist.
-
If you use webmail (Hotmail, Yahoo! Mail, etc.)
instead of Outlook, you will need to
email the certificates data file EXP.fp7 as an attachment to Tony at
thuck@marisths.org.
The file will be found either on your desktop or in your My Documents folder
when you have completed your certificates data entries.
-
Click the link above
to download CERTUv1.zip. When asked, save the downloaded file to your
desktop.
-
The file is in "ZIP"
format, which means that after the download is complete you will have to extract
the files. Find the downloaded "CERTU" ZIP file on your desktop,
then right-click on it. Choose "Extract all" (Windows).
-
The Windows
"Extraction Wizard" will open. Click "Next" allowing the wizard to
create a new desktop folder that will contain all of the files you
need to run the program. Depending on the speed of your computer,
extraction may take several seconds.
-
When the extraction
is finished, close the wizard and find the newly created NON-zipped
CERTUv1 folder on your desktop. Double-click the folder. Inside this
folder you may find a second CERTUv1 folder. Open that folder.
-
In the list of files,
you should see the actual program file CERTUv1.exe which is
shown circled in red in the image
below.
-
Double-click
CERTUv1.exe to start the Certificates program. You will find further
directions in the program itself.
